WHEREAS CLAUSES

WHEREAS, the Sangguniang Panlalawigan has the authority to adopt resolutions for the welfare of its constituents;

WHEREAS, there is a need for the declaration of a state of calamity in the municipality due to the COVID-19 pandemic;

WHEREAS, this resolution will benefit the LGU and its constituents;

RESOLVING CLAUSE

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, as it is hereby resolved, by the Sangguniang Panlalawigan in session assembled, to approve the declaration of a state of calamity in the municipality due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

RESOLVED FURTHER, that copies of this resolution be furnished to all concerned offices for their information and appropriate action.
